| event_narrative | Thunderstorms dumped a large amount of rain along Interstate 385 during the late afternoon. Many cars hydroplaned. One man whose car spun out of control and rested on the shoulder, got out of his car only to be pulled into a culvert filled with 2 to 3 feet of raging water. After being sucked through a drainage pipe a State Trooper rescued him, leaving him with only a few injuries. |
