Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeAn upper trough that persisted over the islands caused heavy rain over parts of Maui and Molokai, and a winter storm at the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on the Big Island of Hawaii. The rain produced ponding on roadways, and small stream and drainage ditch flooding. The volcano summits received from 1/2 to 2 feet of snow along the Summit Road. However, no serious property damage or injuries were reported.
