Heavy rain caused localized street and poor drainage flooding.Here are selected rainfall amounts for:Hudson County: from 1.87 inches at Harrison to 2.49 inches at Jersey City.Essex County: from 1.77 inches at West Orange to 2.87 inches at Essex Fells. At Newark Airport, 1.92 inches was recorded.Passaic County: from 1.62 inches at Oak Ridge to 2.52 inches at Little Falls.Bergen County: from 1.01 inches at Saddle River to 2.58 inches at Lodi.Union County: 1.77 inches at Elizabeth. Most peak wind gusts were measured from 40 to 50 mph. At Newark Airport, a peak wind gust of 47 mph was recorded. |
