| episode_narrative | Rain, heavy at times, fell across the Maryland Eastern Shore from the evening of the 18th through the morning of the 19th. The heaviest rain fell between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. EDT on the 18th and 19th. Storm totals averaged 1.5 to 2.5 inches across much of the area. This produced some urban and poor drainage flooding, but no serious flooding or damage was reported. A low pressure system developed near Norfolk during the late evening of the 18th. At 8 a.m. EDT on the 19th, it was located near Atlantic City. Tropical moisture associated with Hurricane Lili (Which was farther east in the Atlantic.) was ingested into this low and literally wrung out over the Maryland Eastern Shore. Representative storm totals included 3.16 inches in Conowingo, 2.48 inches at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport and 1.17 inches in Bridgeville, Delaware. |
