episode_narrativeA drenching downpour of rain resulted in low land flooding in parts of Osborne and Mitchell counties. Showers and thunderstorms through the night produced an average of 4 to 5 inches of rain. Some locations reported more than 7 inches of rain. Several county roads and bridges along the west fork of the Soloman River experienced flooding. Low lying areas near the river in Osborne and Mitchell counties sustained most of the flood water. The Shady Bend Golf Course near Osborne experienced some flooded fairways, but damage was minimal. The flood waters quickly receded during the afternoon.
