| Event narrativeevent_narrative | Rainfall of around 5 inches fell in the Fremont area from early Friday evening 9/15/06 into the early morning hours of 9/16/06. The heavy rain filled ditches and caused street flooding in the normally poorly drained areas around town. This included Airport Road in which flooding caused several vehicles to become stranded. A basement of an elementary school also flooded when outside drains became clogged allowing water to pour in through basement windows. |
