Flooding was reported on Highway 33 on the 2nd of the month on the west side of the Valley north of Highway 46 in the morning and also on Redrock-Randsburg Road in the Kern Desert area by mid-day. Strong southeast wind in the Taft area in the South San Joaquin Valley resulted in downed power poles during the mid-afternoon hours.
