Event narrativeevent_narrativeReports indicate that a man was killed when a very large tree limb, measuring 4 feet in diameter and 30 feet in length, fell onto the truck he was driving. Very heavy localized rainfall from earlier in the day likely caused the tree limb to fall. A passenger in the vehicle was seriously injured. The incident occurred on Bonifant Road, just to the east of Rockville.
