Rain was heavy at times October 15th into October 16th. Rainfall amounts across this area were generally 2 1/2 to 5 inches. Minor flooding occurred Sunday, October 16th in Island pond, across Rte 2 in Lunenburg and low land flooding in Guildhall (Essex county). Additionally, some localized minor field flooding occurred between Waitsfield and Moretown, along the Mad River on Sunday, October 16th and early Monday October 17th, in Washington county. Elsewhere, pockets of localized minor low land flooding occurred.
