Reported rainfall totals between the 24th and 29th included 1.37" at Merced, 0.35" at Fresno, 0.29" at Hanford, and 0.28" at Bakersfield. Although the rainfall amounts for this last rainy period in the month were not as high as previous amounts (those amounts reflected 90% of the total of the month), problems continued for several areas because of continued water runoff from saturated soils. |
