Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeAn upper level ridge dominated the upper air pattern over the Western United States with a weak disturbance moving around it. A surface convergence area was setup near the Arizona border with dew points around 60 all of the way into southwest New Mexico. The disturbance combined with the moisture in place to help develop thunderstorms with locally heavy rain across the Gila Region into the Blacks Range.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeA spotter in San Lorenzo reported 1 inch of rain in about an hour with some street flooding;.
