episode_narrativeA slow moving warm front moved slowly north along the Atlantic Seaboard on the 10th through the 12th. Warm tropical air forced aloft over this boundary resulted in heavy rain across the Eastern Shore on the 10th and 11th. This caused poor drainage flooding, but was beneficial in starting the replenishing process in the drought stricken region. Two day storm totals were 3.90 inches in Federalsburg (Caroline County), 3.14 inches in Easton (Talbot County), 2.78 inches in Crumpton (Kent County), 2.07 inches in Stevensville (Queen Anne's County) and 1.96 inches at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
