episode_narrativeA wet weather pattern continued in North Texas during the first part of September. Numerous slow moving showers and thunderstorms developed over the region, bringing heavy rain and flooding. One thunderstorm developed near downtown Fort Worth during the evening rush hour on the 4th. This storm brought very heavy rain and flash flooding, forcing road closures and some high water rescues. In Dallas County, another slow moving thunderstorm brought heavy rain which caused the closure of a portion of an interstate highway by two mud slides.
