| episode_narrative | Heavy rain fell across much of Bucks County as well as northeast portions of Philadelphia and extreme eastern Montgomery County from the afternoon of the 1st into the early morning of the 2nd. Storm totals averaged between 1.5 and 2.0 inches with lesser amounts (around an inch) across the rest of southeast Pennsylvania. Some poor drainage flooding occurred, but no serious stream flooding or damage was reported. Storm totals included 2.04 inches in Doylestown (Bucks County), 1.86 inches in Neshaminy Falls (Bucks County), 1.85 inches at the Northeast Philadelphia Airport, 1.58 inches in New Hope (Bucks County) and 1.53 inches at the Willow Grove NAS (Montgomery County). A warm front over the Ohio Valley on the morning of the 1st moved into New Jersey the morning of the 2nd. A low pressure system developed on the frontal boundary's triple point (the conjunction of the occluded, warm and cold fronts) over Eastern Pennsylvania by the morning of the 2nd and heavier rain fell to the north of this low center across extreme southeast Pennsylvania and central and northern New Jersey. |
