| episode_narrative | Heavy rain fell across most of the Maryland Eastern Shore on the 29th and 30th. Light rain began falling during the morning of the 29th and fell heavy at times the evening of the 29th and the first couple of hours of the 30th. The rain ended by mid morning on the 30th. There was ponding of water in low lying and poor drainage areas. There were no reports of serious flooding. Storm totals averaged near 2 inches. Specific storm totals included 2.06 inches in Easton (Talbot County), 1.89 inches at the Conowingo Dam (Cecil County) and 1.83 inches in Stevensville (Queen Anne's County). A low pressure system developed over the Gulf of Mexico the night of the 28th. By the morning of the 29th, it moved northeast into the Florida Panhandle and by the morning of the 30th, it reached the Delmarva Peninsula. The low moved offshore that morning and by the morning of the 31st was located near Nova Scotia. |
