In Frederick County, Back Creek overflowed its banks near Gore. Route 704, Shawnee Trail, Tomahawk Trail, and Back Creek Road were closed by high water for 4 hours. Over 350 boy scouts, pack leaders, and staff members at Camp Rock Enon were stranded after Back Creek flooded the access road. A total of 2.34 inches of rain fell in Gore, 1.79 inches fell in Winchester, and 1.75 inches fell at Star Tannery. In Warren County, 1.60 inches fell in Nineveh. In Prince William County, 1.99 inches of rain fell at Lake Jackson. |
