| episode_narrative | Thunderstorms preceding and accompanying a slow moving cold front produced a few hours of heavy rain across the central third of New Jersey during the early morning on the 15th. Poor drainage flooding occurred, especially in low-lying areas. The heavy rain caused the brief closure of New Jersey State Route 70 in Wall Township (Monmouth County). But, no serious flooding or injuries were reported. Storm totals included 3.38 inches in Manasquan (Monmouth County), 3.18 inches in Brick (Ocean County), 2.45 inches in Pennsauken (Camden County), 2.38 inches in New Lisbon (Burlington County), 1.98 inches in Freehold (Monmouth County), 1.64 inches in Mount Holly (Burlington County), 1.62 inches in Wrightstown (Burlington County) and 1.40 inches in Hamilton Square (Mercer County). |
