The primary threats were winds around 60 mph, and local flooding from heavy rain. Thunderstorm wind damage occurred in Johnson and Washington counties in eastern Iowa. Delaware county in northeast Iowa received 1.3 inches of rain in a ten-minute period. Thunderstorms moved eastward in western Illinois and produced heavy rain, but no reports of severe weather.
