| episode_narrative | A line of thunderstorms which contained winds in excess of 55 MPH, large hail, heavy rain, and frequent lightning moved across the area during the afternoon and evening of the 15th. In Hardy County, a tree was downed onto a road in Old Fields and several trees were downed in a west to east path just north of Lost River near Route 259 and Mill Gap Road. A total of 2.50 inches of rain fell in Highview. In Hampshire County, 1.31 inches fell on Little Cacapon Mountain. In Morgan County, 2.13 inches of rain fell in Berkeley Springs. In Jefferson County, two trees were downed north of Charles Town where 2.85 inches of rain was recorded. Up to 4 feet of water covered roads in Ranson and several county roads were also flooded. |
