These storms developed along a very slow moving cold front and primarily produced large hail, although some occasional high winds were also reported. The first round of storms moved in during the mid morning hours with the last of the storms ending during the early evening. The largest hail reported was golf ball sized near Stoddard (Vernon County) and near Viroqua (Vernon County).
