This disturbance triggered isolated to scattered thunderstorm development. Observations early in the afternoon showed a moderately unstable airmass near the Canadian border and moderate wind shear. A general threat of hail and|gusty winds with the thunderstorms resulted in SPC issuing a convective watch for much of North Central Montana.
