Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA slow moving cluster of thunderstorms dropped very heavy rain over northern Greenville County in upstate South Carolina resulting in minor flooding.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeVery heavy rain fell across northwest Greenville County during the late evening hours. An NWS employee located 3 miles south of Tigerville reported 4.63 inches of rain during the course of the evening. The heavy rain caused deep pooling of water in many locations in this mainly rural part of the county as ditches filled with water. Some roads were briefly closed and many were at least partially covered, including highways 25 and 441.
