This area intensified and expanded in the afternoon heat. Other thunderstorms developed in the afternoon heat around the lower Ohio River. A massive complex of thunderstorms expanded and intensified as it moved up the Ohio Valley and approached from the west. ||Marginally severe wind accompanied the line of thunderstorms through southeast Ohio and across the Ohio River. The complex weakened while moving further east in West Virginia.
