Several strong storms developed over Southern Madison and Garrard Counties during the mid afternoon hours. In addition to producing marginally severe hail, two storms became nearly stationary for a couple of hours, with frequent convective redevelopment on the upwind side of these storms. Three to as much as 5 inches of rain fell within a 2 hour period across southern Madison County and eastern Garrard county. |
