Widespread numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms developed mainly across the central interior and north central. Runoff from the heavy rainfall that occurred across parts of the north central section caused river Cibuco to go out its banks causing river flooding. By late afternoon on Sunday showers and thunderstorms that developed across the interior northwest caused heavy rain that produced urban and river flooding in the Aguadilla and Aguada area during the evening.
