The roof was being repaired and had been fitted with drains, but the drains were clogged with debris. More than 50 families were displaced by the water. ||1.45 inches of rain was measured at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport in just over an hour, about 3 miles to the northeast. Radar estimated as much as three inches of rain in less than 5 hours over parts of that area.
