Event narrativeevent_narrativeA landslide moved down Tumwater Canyon and covered highway 2 about a mile west of Leavenworth. The slide closed Highway 2 in both directions. The road was covered with six to eight feet of mud and debris for approximately one-eighth of a mile. The highway remained closed until Saturday afternoon 300PST April 2nd.
