The cold front was associated with a cut off low that situated east of New Zealand. The cold front was located just south south of the islands with a strong high pressure system over Fiji and a ridge of high pressure strengthening far east of the islands. RAOB at 00Z depicted a moist and an unstable atmosphere for the islands. WSO Pago Pago issued a flood advisory that was in effect for 6 hours. Furthermore, a 2.92 inches of precipitation was recorded at the station within 2 hour period. |
