Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA cold front was positioned across north-central Florida with a low level northeast flow over the area. Southwest flow aloft steered a series of short wave troughs over the area which had deep layer moisture in place. A heavy rainfall producing convergent band developed along the northeast Florida coast which brought heavy rainfall to Duval and Flagler counties.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeThree inches of rainfall fell in one hour about 1.5 miles southwest of Interstate 95 and State Road 100.
