Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeAn active monsoonal trough of low pressure had slowly moved over the islands from the west. The trough produced heavy rainshowers in which had inundated low lying areas of the territory and thunderstorms on the 31st of March. The WSO Pago Pago recorded a precipitation daily high for the month of 3.09 inches. The Department of Public Safety reported inundations of low lying areas and severe runoffs of various streams from different areas around the islands. In addition, pot-holes and debris from overflow streams on roads were also reported. No other damages were reported.
