Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA complex of thunderstorms that developed across northwest Iowa Wednesday morning May 6th, moved slowly northeast across far southern Minnesota and produced locally two to four inches of rain from 11 am to 2 pm across portions of Blue Earth, Waseca and Steele Counties of south central Minnesota. A local observer near Blooming Prairie in far southeast Steele county measured 3.50 inches of rain from this complex. Several reports of ponding of water in fields, ditches and urban areas, as well as some elevated stream flows.
