Intermittent periods of moderate to heavy rain and occasional lightning were seen across Saint Croix overnight, where one half to one inch of rain were estimated by doppler radar over a large portion of the island. Local newspapers reported some flooded roads across the island and localized urban flooding in some residential areas. Elsewhere across the territory, showers and thunderstorms were significantly more isolated.
