Several waves of heavy showers and thunderstorms overspread areas from Hollis to Oklahoma City, resulting in extremely high precipitation totals and widespread flooding and flash flooding. Many city and county roads were closed due to high water, and several water rescues occurred. Monetary damages were estimated. |
