Other rain amounts included 4.02 inches in Truce, 3.50 inches 5 miles west southwest of Elizabethtown, 3.40 inches in Lancaster and 3.00 inches in Quarryville. Much of the heaviest rain fell in a several hour period during the afternoon of September 6th. The heavy rain knocked down several trees throughout the county.
