Event narrativeevent_narrativeA rockslide blocked the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad at the intersection of Tank Canyon. The train was traveling from Silverton to Durango when it came around a curve and was unable to stop before hitting the rockslide. The train was able to back up to the Silverton station where 250 passengers were stranded for a period of time.
