On the afternoon of the 11th, the cold front sagged down into northern Iowa and initiated a couple of storms that produced an instance of damaging winds. In addition to the storms, a death of an infant occurred from the heat by being left in an unattended vehicle on the afternoon of the 11th in Polk County. |
