Emergency response officials reported sporadic incidents of heat-related illness, such as shortness of breath and heat exhaustion, around the Washington/Baltimore Metropolitan region. Three deaths were attributed directly to this heat wave. The deaths occurred in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC. |
