The highest temperatures mainly occurred on the 17th. Humidity levels were high for most of the week, except for the 16th when a weak back door cold front moved through the region. A second stronger front moved through the state during the first half of the 20th and ended the string of 90 degree high temperatures. Highest temperatures included 96 degrees in Salisbury (Wicomico County in Maryland), Georgetown (Sussex County) and Milford (Kent County), 95 degrees in Greenwood (Sussex County) and 92 degrees in Wilmington and at the New Castle County Airport. |
