Temperature record of 103 degrees in San Francisco tied the all time record high temperature. Other record highs for the day were Livermore had 107 degrees, Oakland 106 degrees, Santa Rosa 108 degrees High temperature caused over loading of power resources and rolling blackouts were implemented to keep the power system from exceeding capacity so many people lost power for a period during the heat.
