Convective showers developed in association with a decaying outflow boundary from earlier thunderstorms in the southeast Gulf of Mexico. However, weak southerly and veering flow propagated the later showers northward from the Atlantic side to the Gulf of Mexico side of the Lower Keys. |

Of the three waterspouts observed, the second waterspout has a well-developed spray ring and a condensation funnel cloud reaching the water surface. |
