A weak trough of low pressure extended across the Florida Peninsula, with light southeast lower tropospheric flow over the Florida Keys.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeA waterspout was observed from the National Weather Service Florida Keys rooftop camera and from public observers about 7 miles north of Boca Chica Key. The condensation funnel cloud extended from the cloud base to the surface and a spray ring was observed. The waterspout moved toward the northwest.
