| Episode narrativeepisode_narrative | A surface low moved from southwestern Lower Michigan to far-western Lake Erie between the late morning and early evening of the 10th. The trailing cold front swept eastward from near the Indiana/Ohio border to central Ohio. Multiple thunderstorms developed along and ahead of the front. Several of these storms generated gale-force wind gusts near the northern Ohio lakeshore. In addition, a brief waterspout occurred near Cedar Point. These storms occurred within a warm sector characterized by moderate to strong instability, moderate DCAPE, and moderate vertical wind shear over Lake Erie. |
