Event narrativeevent_narrativeMultiple NWS employees and the flight weather briefer and observer at Naval Air Station Key West observed a waterspout north of Key West and west of Snipe Point. A spray ring was not visible, and the wide condensation funnel cloud only extending about one fifth the way down from cloud base. Movement was toward the west-southwest around 5 knots.
