Some of the storms became severe, producing large hail and strong wind gusts. The largest hail was the size of a baseball, and fell in Adams and Hettinger counties. The strongest wind gust was 66 mph, which occurred in Adams County. A funnel cloud occurred in McKenzie County and another in Mountrail County. There were no tornadoes.
