Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeBy the mid afternoon of July 28th, a cold front was progressing eastward across North Dakota. Temperatures were not particularly warm, but they were generally in the 70s with dew points in the mid to upper 60s. A line of thunderstorms developed along the front and tracked to a Kensal to Lakota line, before continuing to the east. These storms produced a tornado, several funnel clouds, and isolated damaging wind gusts over portions of eastern North Dakota.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeMultiple funnel clouds were reported.
