Strong thunderstorms with large amounts of small hail and heavy rain caused for slippery roads and local flooding in the northern San Joaquin Valley. These thunderstorms also produced multiple funnel clouds. Accumulating small hail was also observed on Interstate 5 south of Anderson, CA.
