Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeA large high pressure system remained stationed over the eastern half of the United States and western Atlantic Ocean. At the surface, a broad area of low pressure extended from central Cuba northeast across the central and southern Bahamas. Southeast winds across the central Florida peninsula continued to stream sufficient moisture for showers and thunderstorms to develop along the east coast sea breeze. As early afternoon showers formed near the coast of Martin County, one shower produced a weak waterspout that dissipated before the main shower moved onshore.
