Boundaries remained in place over portions of the state, helping initiate and sustain sporadic activity, including a number of funnel cloud reports in northern Iowa. ||While low level lapse rates were not tremendous, surface voriticity and 0-3 km CAPE values in excess of 50 J/kg were able to trigger a number of reported funnel clouds around the Renwick and Eldora, IA areas. |
