Episode narrativeepisode_narrativeWaterspouts were observed first in association with a convective cloud line developing over the Upper and Middle Florida Keys. Then, as convective outflows disrupted the initial cloud line, a second cloud line developed along and north of the Lower Florida Keys.
Event narrativeevent_narrativeTwo waterspouts were reported by a trained spotter. The first waterspout was very thin and dark grey in appearance. The second waterspout was medium sized and also dark grey. Both waterspouts were eventually overtaken by convective outflow and rain shafts.
