Event narrativeevent_narrativeA waterspout was observed north of Key West and relayed by social media. Multiple waterspouts were also observed by NWS employees north and northwest of Key West. The waterspouts were observed with narrow to medium thickness and varied from nearly vertical to tilted greater than 30 degrees. The waterspouts moved toward the west-southwest.
